Before Purchase Checks

Do you plan to Renovate and/or Subdivide ?

  1. Check with your Architect to make sure the property has the room to be subdivided into multiple sites.
  2. Check with the council are there any issues with the property, such as overlays, reserves, heritage conditions.
  3. Check the title (it should be provided by the Real Estate agent)
  4. Check with the water and sewerage supplier, 
    1. What are the access points?
    2. What is the drop (this is critical if you plan to subdivide)?
  5. Power and Gas, hopefully this is not an issue with this site as it's in the centre of town.
